Started with ippon 1-5.
Next, we worked on kicks - front kick, back kick, round kick, side kick, h-form kata, and Eric ran the warm ups.

Did 9 moving forces:
- Breath control
- applied pressure
- join bending
- triking vulnerable & paralyzing areas
- absorbing & controlling pain or punishment
- holding & grappling
- throwing & sweeping
- Choking and rendering unconscious by striking
- Counter to all the above

- Close the gap - Step with the rear foot to front
- Step and slide (front leads )

Worked on H form kata with tape on the floor and a whole bunch of self defense from
hair grabs, wrist grabs, chokes, shit grabs, bear hugs, etc

Manatee Martial Arts Karate school is located in Bradenton, FL. We teach Okinawan Shuri Ryu Karate. The Shuri Ryu style is based on tradition and hard work, as are the classes at Manatee Martial Arts. Shuri Ryu is a complete martial arts system; more appropriately a way of life. Our instruction concentrates on Kata, Controlled Sparring and Self Defense. Punches, blocks and kicks are the basic tools taught to give each student a foundation for advanced levels of study.
We accomplish this mission through progressive, systematic curriculum’s and training methods, which are designed to help students achieve ranking objectives and emphasize the character building aspects of the Martial Arts.
