Beginners:

Started with ippon 1-5.

Next, we worked on kicks - front kick, back kick, round kick, side kick, h-form kata, and Eric ran the warm ups.

Did 9 moving forces:

  1. Breath control
  2. applied pressure
  3. join bending
  4. triking vulnerable & paralyzing areas
  5. absorbing & controlling pain or punishment
  6. holding & grappling
  7. throwing & sweeping
  8. Choking and rendering unconscious by striking
  9. Counter to all the above

Kogeiki Hou Hou

  1. Walking
  2. Circular/crescent step
  3. Hopping
  4. Close the gap - Step with the rear foot to front
  5. Step and slide (front leads )
  6. step across in front
  7. step behind
