Manatee Martial Arts Karate school is located in Bradenton, FL. We teach Okinawan Shuri Ryu Karate. The Shuri Ryu style is based on tradition and hard work, as are the classes at Manatee Martial Arts. Shuri Ryu is a complete martial arts system; more appropriately a way of life. Our instruction concentrates on Kata, Controlled Sparring and Self Defense. Punches, blocks and kicks are the basic tools taught to give each student a foundation for advanced levels of study.

We accomplish this mission through progressive, systematic curriculum’s and training methods, which are designed to help students achieve ranking objectives and emphasize the character building aspects of the Martial Arts. Essential ingredients are the participation and contributions of time, talent, and abilities of caring instructors and students. Our goal is to assist every student to achieve BLACK BELT EXCELLENCE!
